Due to confidentiality agreements between KS Design and our customers we do not provide direct examples of “non-public” programs. In an effort to demonstrate benefits of our company we can however explain some of our projects’ methodologies and programming languages used.
JavaScript Telemarketing Web Based Scripting Engine:
Designed and implemented a framework for use with a telemarketing dialer system for web based calling scripts. Framework is written purely in JavaScript for use with a Microsoft only shop. Framework includes connectivity to SQL Database through 3rd party ActiveX control. Each station is web enabled with email capabilities.
C# Calling Campaign Order Entry System:
Utilizing Microsoft .Net Technologies KS Design has built and implemented a custom order entry system. Through direct relationships with our customer’s client level programming team KS Design was able to build and implement a direct order system which is an add-in for our a custom application. This order entry system takes advantage of C# .Net, SQL Server 2005 (custom database design with relational tables, stored procedures, custom functions, and more), .Net Web Services, .Net Windows Services, Session State, and auto login processes. This system takes the order information provided and through a processing page that our customers Operations Management Team uses, pulls updated franchise / contact information from an external webservice, updates a SQL 2005 database with new information, validates the information provided, auto generates a calling campaign in the dialer, filters contact records based upon specific Zip Code calling restrictions, and sends confirmation email once processing is complete.
C# Online Member Management System:
KS Design worked directly with our customer to build a member management system for use with an online fitness site. This site uses the member’s arena in such a way that it provides the member with a progress tracking feature, internal messaging system, class schedule based on the member’s available times, and much more. This site also has a very intuitive email system which utilizes custom designed, by KS Design, graphical email templates which include auto-login, member management, referrals, signup verification, and signup validation routines – built directly into the email! Another feature that this site offers is that it uses online streaming media technologies for use with the member video class system.
C# Web 2.0 Social & Business Networking System:
An advantage of using KS Design is that we are not afraid to explore new technologies, and adapt to new ideas. A customer approached us with an idea that was out of this world and we are proud to announce that KS Design has been signed as the sole programming provider for this project. Our customer is putting together a music based advertising / social networking site. This project takes advantage of Web 2.0 technologies as well as a graphic submission system, member’s area, online store, social network, and geographic marketing strategies. A user will be able to submit an image to the system for placement on an advertising grid. Once the member has purchased an advertisement, or for a reduced price, they can then access the social networking section of the site which will provide an experience much like MySpace.com. Each member will have access to sell their apparel on our customers online store, with a custom design engine that will allow members to use their own designs and submit them to the online store for sale. Members will be able to, at a future date, also sell music directly online directly from their social networking page. This site utilizes online media streaming, SQL 2005 databases, social networking system, online store, and much more….
VB.Net 2.0 Shopping System:
KS Design built and implemented an online shopping cart with member login section. Shopping cart was built using SQL Server database that pulls information from Microsoft Great Plains through nightly update process. This information is then reviewed by the Order Retrieval Team and processed manually using Purchase Orders, Credit Card Information, or Money Order payment methods. The shopping cart offers the user the ability to search and view item information. When an item is added the shopping cart retrieves a list of items purchased from previous orders that then rates these items and provides “people that bought this item also bought these items” list for use with a quick add option. Customers can also, directly from the home page, drill down through categories to a list of items that allows them to quickly find items they are searching for. One other feature is that the member can add items to their “favorites” list and also “re-place” a previous order, for fast ordering / re-ordering timeframes.
